Ordering straight curtain poles
1. Select the finish you require
2. Select the diameter (16, 20 or 25mm) of pole
you require
3. Measure the required pole length between points A and B, as shown
on the diagram below:
4. Select the type and quantity of finials
you require
5. Select the type of brackets you
require. Normally, you need two vertical brackets for poles under 2 metres
long, and three brackets (usually two vertical and one horizontal) for poles
over 2 metres long
6. Select the size of rings you
need and calculate the number required by dividing the pole length by 30cm
and then multiplying by 4. For instance, a 120cm pole would require 16 rings
(120 divided by 30 equals 4, multiplied by 4 equals 16)
Please note: All poles are made with one detachable finial, unless the pole is over 244cm, when it will be made in two halves. This is done to help in handling and transportation.
Ordering bay window curtain poles
Please supply us with a template of your bay, using a piece of wallpaper or lining paper. Please mark on the template where you would like the brackets to go, and where you want the finials to start, as shown below:
Please cut out the template at the height at which the brackets will be attached. We will allow room for the brackets, unless you need to site the pole further away from the wall. In this case, please mark on the template the desired position of the inside of the pole.
All bay window curtain poles are made in two sections.
